Jessica Kirkham

Jessica began coaching at Arete in 2021. She has experience coaching elementary and middle school athletes and recently went to the 2024 Girls Junior National Championship as the assistant coach of 12 Navy Telos. She graduated from West Texas A&M university and is currently pursuing her masters in Kinesiology at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Jessica knows what professionally training as an athlete looks like having experience playing collegiate softball. As a coach, she trains athletes mentally and physically, encouraging vulnerability, curiosity, and perseverance. She believes that all coaches have the unique opportunity to support the physical and emotional growth of an athlete. On and off the court Jessica strives to cultivate an environment where the “why” is just as critical as the “how”.  

Fun Fact: Jessica loves to cheer on her two daughters at volleyball, basketball games, and track meets. She loves to spend time with her family and two big dogs. Jessica also actively serves in the school district and works in financial services.
