Heather Stewart

Along with four years of playing collegiate volleyball, Heather has an impressive 12+ years of experience coaching high school varsity volleyball, 6 years coaching middle school, and 10+ years head coaching USAV. She has achieved over 200 high school wins, has been back-to-back TAPPS final 4, and has received district coach of the year.

Heather graduated from Texas Women’s University with a Kinesiology degree and has her master’s in education from Concordia University.

Coach Heather’s mission is to assist athletes in reaching their full potential by providing a positive and safe environment where they are encouraged to work hard and challenge themselves. She believes in fostering a growth mindset, where progress is celebrated over perfection, and every effort is a step toward personal success. Heather strives to inspire confidence, resilience, and a lifelong passion for improvement in each athlete through dedicated coaching and support. She aims to empower individuals to exceed their limits and grow both on and off the court.

Heather is the Varsity Coach at Prestonwood Christian Academy North and has been married to Brandon for over twenty years. They have two children, Braelyn (class of 2029) and Haydon (class of 2027). She is a faithful Prestonwood Baptist Church North member and loves spending time with family, hiking, and walking their Aussie Doodle.
